Hallmarking at Xemplare 

At Xemplare, we use state-of-the-art laser engraving to mark all our jewellery pieces—replacing the traditional method of hallmark stamping with a cleaner, more precise finish. 

Every piece we create is engraved with essential details, ensuring both authenticity and transparency.  

At a minimum, you’ll always see the metal caratage clearly marked. 

You may also find additional hallmarks, including: 

• Xemplare logo – our signature of craftsmanship and quality 
• Manufacturer’s mark – identifying the maker of your piece 
• Metal caratage, such as: 
• P950 for Platinum 
• 750 for 18ct Gold 
• 585 for 14ct Gold 
• 375 for 9ct Gold 
• 925 for Sterling Silver 
• When diamonds are featured, we also include: 

Centre stone weight – for example, “1.02” indicates a 1.02ct centre diamond 

Total Diamond Weight (TDW) – if there’s no centre stone, the engraving might read “TDW 1.00”, meaning the combined diamond weight is 1.00ct 

These marks are a discreet yet important way of confirming the authenticity, metal purity, and gemstone specifications of your Xemplare jewellery—crafted with care and proudly engraved for life.
